Enrollment Policy: The Meadowlark School strives to support a balanced and diverse learning community. As such, we take into account good fit, as well as, diversity among ages, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We operate primarily on a first-come, first-serve basis with priority given to siblings of already enrolled students and to maintaining balance for a harmonious and cohesive group dynamic. Meadowlark doesn't enroll children on a drop-in basis. Prior to enrollment, families are invited to come and tour the school. After that, an application may be filled out. There is a non-refundable $25 application fee. This secures the child onto the wait list. The Meadowlark School will contact the family of the prospective student at a later time. Upon acceptance we will conduct an informal get to know you interview in order to better serve your child and your family. This is an important and exciting step in the process and helps us meet your child exactly where they are at developmentally. Parents are responsible for completing and submitting ALL required forms prior to attendance. Forms that must be completed include enrollment form, child’s health report, immunization record, medication permission form.
Interview: As a part of the application process, we ask that an informal interview with the parent/guardian take place. It is to help us get to know our family better, your preferences, and insure that you fully understand our program and are confident it is a good fit for your family.
Non-Discrimination Policy: The Meadowlark School is a secular, private school that is not affiliated with any particular religious group. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, creed, color, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, age, or abilities.
